The Central Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan) will issue a commemorative silver coin to celebrate the Taiwan’s national baseball team winning the championship at the WBSC Premier12 2024.
The Bank has delegated the Bank of Taiwan (BOT) to conduct the pre-order sale of the commemorative coins both online and through its branch network. The public can pre-order online (https://coins.bot.com.tw) starting at 10:00 a.m. on June 23 through to midnight on July 2, or pre-order in person at any BOT branch during the opening hours over the same period. The coin is expected to be available for collection at the BOT branch designated during pre-order in November this year. The Bank will announce the exact pickup date separately.
All the commemorative coins are available by pre-order only, and each purchaser is limited to order one silver coin. A maximum of 36,000 commemorative silver coins will be offered at NT$1,600 each. If the total number of orders exceeds the maximum quantity, a computer-generated random drawing will be conducted.
