Central Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan)

PRESS RELEASE                                  Release Date:  March 6, 2019

Foreign Exchange Reserves as of the End of February 2019

The foreign exchange reserves of the Republic of China amounted to US$463.94 billion as of the end of February 2019, showing an increase of US$892 million from the figure recorded at the end of the previous month.

The main factor responsible for the increase in foreign exchange reserves in February 2019 was returns from foreign exchange reserves management, which were partially offset by the depreciation of the euro and other reserve currencies against the US dollar.
