PRESS RELEASE Release Date: April 6, 2017
Foreign Exchange Reserves as of the End of March 2017
The foreign exchange reserves of the Republic of China amounted to US$437.53 billion as of the end of March 2017, showing a decrease of US$135 million from the figure recorded at the end of the previous month.
The level of foreign exchange reserves showed a moderate decrease in March because an increase in foreign assets held by domestic investors offset returns from the management of reserve assets.
