Foreign Exchange Reserves as of the End of November 2015
The foreign exchange reserves of the Republic of China amounted to US$424.61 billion at the end of November 2015, showing a decrease of US$2.16 billion from the figure recorded at the end of the previous month.
In November 2015, the EUR and other major currencies depreciated against the US dollar. Foreign exchange reserves denominated in these currencies were worth less in terms of the base currency, the US dollar.

Note: The market value of securities investment and the NTD deposits held by foreign portfolio investors at the end of November 2015 reached USD255.9 billion, equivalent to 60% of foreign exchange reserves.
