Foreign Exchange Reserves as of the End of May 2015
The foreign exchange reserves of the Republic of China amounted to US$418.96 billion as of the end of May 2015, showing an increase of US$784 million from the figure recorded at the end of the previous month.
The main factor responsible for the increase in foreign exchange reserves in May 2015 is returns from foreign exchange reserves management .

Note: The market value of securities investment and the NTD deposits held by foreign portfolio investors at the end of May 2015 reached US$322.5 billion, equivalent to77% of foreign exchange reserves.
