The Issuance of a Commemorative NT$100 Banknote &
Uncut Commemorative NT$100 Currency Sheets

The Central Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan) will issue a commemorative NT$100 banknote for circulation and uncut commemorative NT$100 currency sheets in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of China on January 6, 2011.
The Bank of Taiwan has been appointed by the Central Bank of the Republic of China（Taiwan）to deal with the exchange of the commemorative NT$100 banknote and the sale of the uncut commemorative NT$100 currency sheets. Each uncut commemorative NT$100 currency sheet, comprising of three commemorative NT$100 banknotes in one sheet, costs NT$500.

5. Design:
Obverse: A portrait of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen. The intaglio printing reads “The Republic of China ”, “The Central Bank of the Republic of China”, “One Hundred Dollars ”, and “100”.
Reverse: The image of “The Chung-Shan Building”. The intaglio printing reads “In Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Republic of China”, “One Hundred Dollars”, and “100”.

Remark: The Bank of Taiwan will publicly auction some banknotes with special serial numbers, which have been picked out from the uncut commemorative NT$100 currency sheets. The special serial numbers selected by the Central Bank are as follows:
