English Edition of The Payment and Settlement Systems in the Republic of China (Taiwan)

Payment and settlement systems are an important part of the financial infrastructure. Their sound operation is critical to the effectiveness of monetary policy and stability of financial system. To promote public awareness of the CBC’s role and continue reforms on payment and settlement systems, and to have the support of system operators, participants and relevant authorities to work together for the enhancement of financial infrastructure, the CBC published the Chinese-language report The Payment and Settlement Systems in the Republic of China (Taiwan) in September 2009, both in print and online ( /Public/Attachment/972016463871.pdf ).
