Foreign Exchange Reserves as at the End of
January 2007
The foreign exchange reserves of the Republic of China amounted to US$265.97 billion at the end of January 2007, showing a decrease of US$176 million from the figure recorded at the end of last month.
Although there was a net inflow of foreign capital in January foreign assets held by domestic investors increased, causing the level of foreign exchange reserves to drop slightly.
