Foreign Exchange Reserves as at the End of
July 2006
The foreign exchange reserves of the Republic of China amounted to US$260.37 billion at the end of July 2006, showing an increase of US$20 million from the figure recorded at the end of the previous month.
Returns from foreign exchange reserves management during the month of July have been largely offset by a net outflow of foreign capital, causing the level of foreign exchange reserves to increase only slightly.
