Foreign Exchange Reserves as at the End of
February 2006
The foreign exchange reserves of the Republic of China amounted to US$256.98 billion at the end of February 2006, showing a decrease of US$319 million from the figure recorded at the end of last month.
Although there was a net inflow of foreign capital in February foreign assets held by domestic investors increased, causing the level of foreign exchange reserves to drop slightly.
