Foreign Exchange Reserves as at the End of
December 2007
The foreign exchange reserves of the Republic of China amounted to US$270.31 billion at the end of December 2007, showing an increase of US$221 million from the figure recorded at the end of the previous month.
Returns from foreign exchange reserves management during the month of December have been largely offset by foreign capital outflows, causing the level of foreign exchange reserves to increase only slightly.
