Foreign Exchange Reserves as at the End of
March 2006
The foreign exchange reserves of the Republic of China amounted to US$257.05 billion at the end of March 2006, showing an increase of US$72 million from the figure recorded at the end of the previous month.
Returns from foreign exchange reserves management during the month of March have been largely offset by capital outflows, causing the level of foreign exchange reserves to increase only slightly.
