FOREIGN EXCHANGE RESERVES AS OF JUNE 30, 2002

The Foreign Exchange Reserves of the Republic of China amounted to US$148.24 billion at the end of June 2002, showing an increase of US$ 8,421 million from the figure recorded at the end of last month and an increase of US$ 26,031 million from that of the end of last year.
