FOREIGN EXCHANGE RESERVES AS OF JAN. 31, 2002

The Foreign Exchange Reserves of the Republic of China amounted to US$ 123.63 billion at the end of Jan.2002, showing an increase of US$ 1,419 million from the figure recorded at the end of last month.
