Position : monetary management >> re-deposits of financial institution

The Bank can accept or release deposits from banks or the postal savings system. A predominant portion of deposits kept by the Bank is from the postal savings system. The postal savings system, which accepts deposits from the general public, is prohibited from making loans to individuals and enterprises. As a result, part of its deposits are placed with the Bank.
