The Issuance of Uncut Commemorative NT$100 Banknote Sheets

The Central Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan) will issue a second edition of uncut commemorative NT$100 banknote sheets in souvenir folders on September 8, 2011, and it has appointed the Bank of Taiwan to deal with the sale of the commemorative folders, limited to two folders purchase by each individual at a time. This special centennial folder, comprising three uncut commemorative NT$100 banknotes in one sheet, costs NT$500 each.

In this edition, the images of Sun Moon Lake and Taroko National Park featured on the inside of the protective sleeve are replaced by those of Twin Hearts Stone Weir and Basaltic Rocks in Penghu and Dabajian Mountain to introduce more scenic wonders of Taiwan to the world. The other specifications remain the same as the January 2011 edition.
