The Central Bank of China will issue a proof coin set on the 12th of January 2006. Each set consists of two proof coins in different denominations as well as a silver coin weighing an ounce bearing a motif that symbolizes the Year of the Dog. The sale of the coin sets will be delegated to the Bank of Taiwan and the Central Trust of China as the distributors. Each coin set costs NT$1250.
