The Central Bank of China will issue the 12th Proof Coin Set on the 6th of January 2004. Each set consists of six proof coins in different denominations as well as a silver medal weighing half an ounce bearing a motif that symbolizes the year of the monkey. The sale of the coin sets will be delegated to the Bank of Taiwan and the Central Trust of China as distributors. Each coin set costs NT$1000.
